![]() unless they are the ones who are greatly benefiting from that talent. I do not think a PvP match should be decided based on the chance of one pet talent casting, and I'm not sure why anybody would feel that way. Obviously it doesn't cast every match, but when it does you could lose simply because of one overpowered pet talent that you have no control over. You are fine with being on the receiving end of that? It gives you no chance to defend yourself from being one-shot killed. It can't be like "oh wow this person used this many shields so now I should cast since they are a spammer." If you have stacked traps on you or your opponent has stacked blades, you shield one time and it could cast shatter at the end of your turn. ![]() It's not like there is a threshold of how many times you shield before it casts. Just because you shield doesn't mean shatter even casts there's multiple matches where the pet never casts anything at all.Okay but that isn't how may cast shatter works. The only time Shatter casts is when you're shielding way too much anyway. and this is wizard101 its a CARD GAME the whole point of the game is rng reluctant. Shatter is perfectly balanced as a may cast and everyone can get it now. XTsuin on wrote:Don't bring sparck into this. Do you mind telling them about it? Thank you!!Don't bring sparck into this. ![]() Why should I get completely steam rolled over a lucky may cast? It feels like the old style of PvP where you can't even react to what just happened. Sparck, has the team considered this? Do you mind telling them about it? Thank you!!I agree, it's seems so unfair because the win gets handed to the person instead of their skill winning the match. I don't think it is good to have aspects in PvP that we have absolutely no control over- we should win or lose based on our decisions and how we play. I personally think this is very bad for PvP since it is straight up relying on RNG to win a match, and that is exactly what we are trying to move away from. If you also have stacked traps on you (like Fires tend to do) or your opponent has 2-3 blades, then that is an instant KO. ![]() This leaves your opponent with a completely open hit next turn and you have no way to counter it. Since the cast is triggered by you shielding, what happens is you shield for your turn and then their pet casts shatter.
